A handsome overhead crank vertical workshop engine, c1880.
Made by Robinson & Auden of Wantage, later Wantage Engineering, for marine and industrial applications. A rare, if not unique survivor.

By W. H. Bailey & Co. Ltd, Manchester, this is a very early Bailey H.P. reversible steam engine with attached boiler feed pump.
