1815 “WATERLOO” Turrett Clock

A fine 2 face stricking turret clock by the well known London clockmakers Thwaites and Reed
Originally sold via Exeter clockmakers Skinner, this clock was inscribed “1815”, in commemoration of the Battle of Waterloo.
Thought to be generally in good condition.

A handsome vintage advertising sign in enamelled steel, from the well known (and still in existing) Barretts garages in Canterbury, Kent. Sign reads “G.R. Barrett & Son, Motor Engineers Canterbury, Garage for 100 cars, A.A. and R.A.C. Repairers, Largest & Most Up-To-Date Repair Works in Kent.
G.E.R. ‘DECAPOD’ 0-10-0 LOCOMOTIVE 8″ x 10″ Framed Print
A handsome and rare old framed photo, ex a locomotive works office, of the experimental 10 coupled (0-10-0) ‘Decapod’ locomotive, the first and only example of this type ever built, and which was designed by James Holden for the Great Eastern Railway in 1902.
