A combined boiler and single cylinder steam engine.
Thought to be a unique survivor, the only steam lawnmover engine in existence, this was marketed as a ‘conversion’ kit for small lawnmowers in c1895.

Complete with attached pump.

A set of 3 very large connecting rods, taken from the last waterworks triple expansion engine built by Boulton & Watt, c1900 for Selby Waterworks.

Built in London in 1870 for land drainage in Norfolk.
Complete with original wooden flushing gates and turbine pump.

Built by Marshall, Sons & Co. of Gainsborough, Lincolnshire c1900.
Cylinder 4½” x 8″ ~ Flywheel 36″ Dia.
Approx 56″ high plus original cast iron bed extension.
Attached boiler feed pump.
In good unrestored condition.

This is an original steam centre engine from an American built “carousel” or gallopers set.
Inverted twin 4″ x 6″ Cylinders with slide valves.
24″ Dia Flywheel. 38″ High Overall.
Mounted on a portable trolly.
