A very rare find, this is a miniature dome topped rivetted steel steam boiler by Cochran & Co. of Annan, Scotland.
Boiler is coal firing, with fire-tubes and all the typical Cochran features of full size boilers including external firebox and mud hole doors. A very special and attractive museum quality miniature boiler apparently very little, if ever, used.
COCHRAN & Co. Miniature Cutaway Steam Boiler
A genuine salesmans model, this is a half-cutaway miniature dome topped rivetted steel steam boiler by Cochran & Co. of Annan, Scotland.
1 1/2″ scale miniature of a 7Ft diameter boiler.
Cutaway boiler demonstrates the workings of the Cochran cross-tube vertical boiler, including coal firing firebox, fire-tubes and smokebox, and all the typical Cochran features of full size boilers including external firebox and mud hole doors.
Mounted on a wooden display base with Cochran makers plate.
6 Inch Scale BURRELL Steam Wagon
This miniature is based on the first design of Burrell undertype steam wagon built in 1901. With vertical boiler and enclosed compound engine, driving the rear axle via 2 speed transmission.
Completed in 2007 and rallied extensively, this unique miniature steams and runs very well. For sale with full current boiler certificates.
4 Inch Scale CARADOC Steam Tractor
A very rare miniature, this 3 speed engine is based on the modern “Caradoc” steam tractors designed for use in Africa, to run on locally available solid fuels (wood, etc.)
Under the bonnet of the Massey ferguson style tractor body lies a twin cylinder steam engine, this supplied by a vertical boiler housed within the cab. Built by the well know model engineer Eddie Lancaster to drawings by John Haining.

2 Inch Scale FOWLER Ploughing Engine
An unusual scale miniature of the large “SUPERBA” model ploughing engine built by John Fowler & Co., Leeds for the Italian market (which similar to the ‘K7’ model with various upgrades including superheater).
This miniature appears to be well made and detailed and is requiring some minor work to fully complete, including boiler lagging.
5 Inch Gauge 0-8-0 Tender Locomotive
Built from parts by Zimmermann garden railways in Germany, this high quality miniature loco is based on the classic Prussian G8 loco of 1913. It features a coal-fired copper boiler, a well detailed footplate, drum braking to loco and tender, and coal and water tender with padded seat.
For sale in good working condition. A complete track set in 5″ gauge and 6 Zimmermann carriages are also available.
