9 Inch Scale FODEN Steam Wagon
A unique, superbly built 3/4 Scale Foden ‘C’ type steam wagon
This wagon was built 9 years ago as one of a pair, by a very experienced engineer and with all the detail work faithfully reproduced from a full size ‘C type’ wagon. It features a proper compound engine with full ‘Simpling’ gear, 3 speeds with roller and ball bearings throughout and operates at 220 psi, as per the full size machine. The cab accommodates 3 full size adults and wagon runs on the road, capable of travelling reasonable distances. Definitely a rare and very usable machine….
ROANOKE Steam Wagon
3 Ton Undertype wagon (actual dry weight approx 2 Tonnes).
“Young Buster” is replica wagon built 2002. Features a vertical fire-tube coal or wood fired boiler with a V twin duplex engine and 4 speed gearbox. Fitted with hydraulic brakes and pneumatic tyres, and 4 water tanks giving a 50 mile range. Very usable, economical to run, and currently fitted with Charabanc body for passenger carrying.
Can be transported on an Ifor Williams type trailer behind a suitable 4×4 car.
Folding chimney for compact storage.

A rare 2 speed steam tractor by the MANN Steam Cart & Wagon Company, Leeds. This engine was designed for general agricultural and road work, including direct ploughing, in competition with the newly arrived gasoline tractors. Exceptionally original and in excellent condition, fitted with new firebox, etc. Current and 10 year boiler certificates.

6 Inch Scale BURRELL Steam Wagon
This miniature is based on the first design of Burrell undertype steam wagon built in 1901. With vertical boiler and enclosed compound engine, driving the rear axle via 2 speed transmission.
Completed in 2007 and rallied extensively, this unique miniature steams and runs very well. For sale with full current boiler certificates.
